I see You

“I see You” is the second part of a basic project "Hide and seek" that combines photography and video, exploring subtle aspects of communication and perception in the relationship between body members on the autism spectrum.

Using the play in the chosen as a metaphor, the work asks questions about visibility and invisibility and how these perceptions of categories affect our perception of ourselves and others in the context of sensory effects and experiences.

The Bad project explores communication boundaries – both verbal and non-verbal – through, breadth and accessibility. Gestures, silence and the gaze that appears to be active, that not everything has to be said, through depth felt.

In this work I also ask how social expectations regarding visibility and acceptance affect our understanding of ourselves and close relationships, especially in the context of neurodiversity.

“Hide and Seek” allows us to see deeper for reading at a distance – beyond what is visible at first glance, towards what is hidden and felt.
