Surveillance
control, observation, exposure
someone is always watching
even when nothing happens
even when you forget
The work reflects on surveillance, control, and the limits of privacy in everyday life. “Surveillance” is a reflection on technology, its growing role in our lives and the consequences of new forms of surveillance. It is also a question about the extent to which we are able to preserve our privacy in a world where our every activity, no matter how insignificant, can be recorded and observed. The series challenges us to ask questions about the limits of this surveillance and its impact on our everyday lives, especially in the context of the youngest, who are often more exposed to its presence.
